Resepi Lontong Daun Pisang Chef Marina Mustafa

Masakan lontong memang jadi kegemaran Kak Bell. Ni Resepi Lontong Daun Pisang Chef Marina Mustafa menggunakan peralatan Multi cooker Philip.


BAHAN-BAHAN
4 cawan beras
5 keping daun pisang sepanjang 2 kaki setiap keping
10 lidi 2” panjang
2 sk garam
6 cawan air

CARA MEMASAK:
1) Basuh beras dan masukkan kedalam penapis.
2) Layukan sekeliling luaran bahagian daun pisang dengan memanaskannya di atas api.
3) Bukakan tudung PHILIPS All-In-One Cooker.
4) Tuangkan air ke dalam periuk.
5) Perasakan dengan garam dan gaulkan.
6) Pilih ‘SEAR’ dan kemudian ‘START’.
7) Gulungkan daun pisang keliling botol selebar 3” atau pengguling.
8) Lipatkan hujung dan kelimkan dengan lidi.
9) Dirikan gulungan daun pisang dan sendukkan 4 sb beras kedalam kelonsong daun pisang melalui pembukaan sehingga 1/3 penuh.
10) Tutupkan pembukaan dan lipatkan serta kelimkan dengan lidi.
11) Masukkan Lontong yang telah diisi & dikelim ke dalam air.
12) Teruskan mengisi beras kedalam kelonsong daun pisang sehingga kesemua beras habis digunakan.
13) Tekankan ‘CLEAR’ dan tutupkan tudung AIOC serta kuncikannya.
14) Pilih ‘RICE” dan tekan ‘START” untuk mula memasak.
15) Apabila lampu menyala di “KEEP WARM’, Lontong sudah siap.
16) Bukakan tudung AIOC dan keluarkan Lontong dari air kepada bekas penapis.
17) Biarkan sejuk sebelum dipotong selebar 1/2” panjang.

INGREDIENTS
4 cups of rice
5 x 2’ long banana leaf, cleaned
10 strong toothpicks
2 tsp salt
6 cups of water

METHOD:
1) Wash the rice and place in a colander to drain.
2) Wilt the 2” sides of the banana leaves.
3) Open the lid of the PHILIPS All-In-One Cooker.
4) Pour the water into the inner pot.
5) Season the water with the salt & mix.
6) Press ‘SEAR’ and ‘START’.
7) Roll the banana leaves using a 3” wide a bottle or rolling pin.
8) Press the leaves and flap the side. Seal with the toothpick.
9) Remove the bottle or rolling pin slowly.
10) Stand the Banana leaf cylinder upright.
11) Scoop about 4 tbsp of rice into the cylinder or till 1/3 full.
12) Flap the other end of the banana leaf cylinder and seal with a toothpick.
13) Place the sealed Lontong cylinders into the water.
14) Continue rolling & filling the Lontong and placing them into the water.
15) Press ‘CLEAR’ and then close the lid and lock it by turning the knob.
16) Press ‘RICE’ and then ‘START’ to begin cooking the Lontong.
17) When the light flicks at “KEEP WARM’, the LONTONG is ready.
18) Unlock the lid and remove the Lontong to drain in a colander.
19) Allow cooling before cutting into 1/2” thickness.
